I’m Allen Spence, and I’m running for Congress in Southwest Florida because I believe we need leaders focused on delivering real economic prosperity for our communities, and securing the long-term stability of our nation.
That includes protecting Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, so they’re strong for the next generation and sustainable for the country.
Financial Expertise, Real-World Solutions
For over 20 years, I’ve worked in broker-dealer operations, most recently at multiple nationally recognized financial technology firms. I’ve overseen how trades are executed, ensured regulatory compliance, and fought for transparency in financial markets.
Unlike our current Congressman, who won’t even hold town halls to listen to his constituents, I believe accountability starts with showing up and listening to the problems of the citizens of Southwest Florida.
Rooted in Florida, Focused on the Future
I’m a Scouting America leader, a proud Floridian born here on the Gulf Coast, and a father to an amazing teenage son. I grew up in Fort Myers, where I had my first job, graduated from high school, and met my future wife. After college, we would return to work and put down roots in the Fort Myers area. My wife and I built our life here on the Gulf Coast, and, like many families, we’re concerned about rising costs, political dysfunction, and leaders more focused on headlines than results.
A Different Kind of Candidate
As it was for many Americans, January 6th was a wake-up call. Though I had split my ticket in the past—including voting for President Obama—I still regarded myself as a Republican. But when the Republican Party once again nominated Trump as its candidate, I could no longer reconcile my party affiliation with my personal values. Deciding to take a stand, I joined millions of Americans across the country in protest, attending Tesla Takedowns, Hands Off, and No Kings rallies, standing beside other Americans standing up for our shared values.
I’m not here for a political career—I’m here to serve. I believe this District deserves a Congressman who works for you, and doesn't play political partisan politics. If you believe in common sense, transparency, and solutions that put people first, I’d be honored to earn your support.

Floridians are being squeezed by rising costs, and far too many families are falling behind. Nearly 1 in 5 children in Florida, over 800,000, don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Floridians are paying too much for basics like food, healthcare, housing, and childcare. We need to lower everyday costs by ending tariff-driven price hikes, cracking down on corporate price gouging, capping credit card interest, reducing prescription drug prices, and delivering direct monthly tax relief to working families and parents.
